Husband- Two days before the wedding, I was headed to the airport to catch a flight to New Orleans I was running late so by time I arrive at the gate my flight began boarding. I went to checkout counter to make sure they haven’t called my boarding number yet. All of sudden! the lady behind the counter informs me there are no more seats left due to overcrowding and I will have to get on the next flight which will be Saturday morning. When the manager approach me,” I demanded I get on this flight because I’m getting married this weekend! She started snickering at me as if she wasn’t taking me seriously. I said, ” What’s so funny”? She replied, “surprise!” Your on new pilot reality show called ” I almost missed my flight”! airing on Bravo.

It was the perfect day. We chose a small wedding so that we could really celebrate with those we wanted too. The funniest part…our 2-year-old using my wedding dress as a slip-n-slide during the wedding ceremony. At one point, I looked over at him and he had the ring bearer’s pillow in his mouth, like a dog, swinging it around. I was worried he would be really distracting, but it only made the day more memorable. My husband put all our wedding songs to video to be played at the ceremony and it was beautiful. I was also able to sing the song “When God Made You” to my husband without crying! Absolutely the best day of my life and the greatest blessing God has given me, is my husband!

We don’t have a funny story as a married couple. It does however share the gospel in raw form. We met at a nightclub, months later found out we were expecting a baby, and 3 months after he was born, we eloped. I, Adriana, was raised as a teenager in church and I knew what God’s word said, so I was feeling very guilty living in sin. So, I did what I thought was best to do to “fix it” by pushing Jose to marry me and make things better. Jose was very anti Jesus back then. He despised anything to do with it. However, God did get a hold of us at our 3 year mark in our relationship. I, Adriana, surrendered my life to Christ. Jose had started going to church but didn’t exactly surrender to Christ.

I was planning to sing prior to the reading of our vows to each other, however, I wound up singing my bride down the aisle. A last minute change forced the issue. The original person slated to sing while Christina walked down the aisle was stuck in traffic and unable to make the ceremony. We improvised, although my wife did not know anything was wrong. That was until the doors of the church opened and she started to see me singing to her as her father walked her between the pews. Thinking I’d changed the plans on her, she was a bit confused, and later told me she was thinking I had made this alteration to the program. But she forgave me when I wooed her to my rendition of Jimmy Needham’s song “Light Of Day”.
